how a 3-letter word changes everything

If God is for us, who can be against us? Rom. 8:31

I got stuck on that tiny 3-letter word, for. So, I looked it up. Know what it means? Being on your side, shielding you, favoring you, furthering your cause. Ever tried to wrap your head around those three short letters: F – O – R?

God for us means God, my Poppa, the One who loves me more than life itself, is

Pro – Janna.

Poppa is pro my safety, pro my advantage and pro my benefit.

He bends over me to shield and defend me. I’m in His favor. He likes me!

Poppa’s on my side. When I ask Him to play the game, He doesn’t have to think about it for a second just to make sure He really wants to be on my team. Nope. He’s beside me already with a huge smile on His face, “I thought you’d never ask. Let’s go win this thing!” In fact, He roots for and plays on and coaches my team all at the same time.

But enough about me.

That same awesome Poppa is

God is FOR you. He cherishes you.

He’s on your side.

He furthers your cause today.

He keeps His hand on the master plan of your life:  the right vocation, right mate, right family, right community, right life plan that will wake you up in awe, whispering “I get to do that with my day and week and month and LIFE.”

If God is FOR [your name here], who can be against you?

Who can stand in the way of a pro-us, on-our-side, in-favor-of, furthering-our-cause God?  What opposed-to-us ANYTHING can possibly thwart Him?

Nothing. Nada. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nein. Nadie. Nunca.

‘Nough said.

P.S. How does this 3-letter word strike you?
