The Story
One of the stories that fascinates me is the story Jesus told of the prodigal son. I mention this story in my book, and this little excerpt of the Father celebrating is what prompted this sticker design….
Love waits on the front porch every day with a hand shading his eyes.
Love sees a bedraggled ragamuffin and with a choked voice and tender hug calls him, “Son.”
Love runs, not politely and with dignity, but with hair-streaming, elbow-flapping, etiquette-be-hanged urgency, to welcome a wayward child with delight.
